Itinerary : MADURAI - RAMESWARAM - THANJAVUR - PONDICHERRY – CHENNAI

Day 1: Arrive Madurai

On arrival at Madurai Airport/Railway Station you will be transferred to your hotel. proceed to Tirumalai Nayak Place, Mariamman Tank and later to Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at the hotel in Madurai.

Day 2: Madurai - Rameshwaram (Approximate 171 kms / 4 hours )

Today drive to Rameshwaram. En route visit Uttarakosamangai (Lord shiva temple where thewedding of Parvati and Shiva took place) and Tirupullani-Vishnu temple thereafter moving toRameshwaram. These temples are named as Ramanatha swami temple and Ramar Patham temple. Overnight at the hotel in Rameshwaram.

Day 3: Rameshwaram - Thanjavur (Approximate 237 kms / 4 hours 40 Minutes)

This morning proceed is dedicated to Tanjore. En route visit the Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Pillaiyarpatti. Later Visit the Brihadeeshwara temple in Tanjore, Mariamman temple. Overnight atthe hotel in Thanjavur.

Day 4: Thanjavur - Chidambaram - Pondicherry (Approximate 218 kms / 4 hours 20 Minutes)

Take a Yoga session . Martial art demo . If interested go for traditional village tour on extra cost . Experience the village life, visit coir making industries and fishing farms . Experience the local toddy made from coconut. Overnight at Kumarakom.

Day 5: Pondicherry - Chennai (Approximate 153 kms / 3 hours 40 Minutes)

This morningvisit Mahabalipuram and afternoon Kancheepuram (Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi amman temple). En route Chennai. Overnight at the hotel in Chennai. (B)

Day 6: Chennai

Today proceed to local sightseeing and shopping.Witness the culture and tradition while interacting at the local bazaars. Also visit the Kapaleeshwara temple and Ashtalakshmi temple. Overnight at the hotel in Chennai.

Day 7: Chennai Departure

Today you will be transferred to Chennai airport/railway station to board your fight/train back homeor to your next destination.
